Butter Chicken

Ingredients
- 14 ounces canned tomatoes
- 5-6 cloves garlic
- 1-2 teaspoons minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garam masala (plus more for end)
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Protein (1 pound chicken thighs, paneer)
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 4 ounces heavy cream
- Cilantro
Instructions
- Add everything to instant pot except butter, cream, cilantro, and paneer (if using)
- Cook on high for 10 minutes. Allow pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes after, remove lid
- Remove chicken (if using)
- Stir in butter and cream, allowing butter to melt
- Blend the sauce until smooth
- Add protein (back) to sauce and serve, topping with cilantro
